Class 2 Driver Vacancy - Leeds Area
Major Logistics is currently seeking experienced Class 2 Drivers for our client based in the Leeds area.
Pay Rate:
£15.00 per hour (PAYE)
Shifts:
- Monday to Friday availability
- Start times between 06:30 - 07:00
- Shifts typically last 8 - 10 hours
- Covering holiday and sickness for an existing fleet of drivers
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving a Class 2 Flatbed vehicle
- Delivering and collecting Steel & Alloy materials
- While offloading is handled by the client, a strong understanding of safe loading, unloading, and securing of the load is required
- Adherence to all health and safety regulations at all times
Training:
- 1-2 weeks of comprehensive training will be provided
Candidate Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 (C) Licence
- Current Digi and CPC cards
- At least 12 months of experience driving Class 2 vehicles
- Prior experience with steel deliveries is a plus
