Ferguson Transport & Shipping are one of the largest independent transport and distribution companies in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland.
We have industry experienced and talented staff throughout all divisions of the company; specialist marine staff, including a Designated Person Ashore, Marine Engineers, vessel crews, Service Managers, mechanics/workshop staff, drivers, shunters, panel beaters/painters, welders, warehouse and office staff as well as various successful apprentices. We also have a dedicated traffic team, with two Transport Managers; overseeing an efficient road fleet throughout the UK.
Continued growth over the last five years in particular has seen staff numbers increase to over 210 dedicated members of staff. Included within the staff numbers are twelve family members, including six within the third-generation.
